a printing house in hell

enough! or too much.

totally internally reflected

It's been a while, but I've finally gotten around to blogging again. I don't care to hear about how crappy my layout is, by the way, so don't make any comments unless Firefox crashes/hell freezes over.

So why grayscale?

Gray is the colour of unanswered questions and unfinished thoughts, of off-tune notes between semitones that otherwise have no name, of something written once and half-erased. Gray also doesn't clash with itself, something that can't be said of polychromatic colour schemes. Meaning that, from a designer's perspective, yes, it was a cop-out.

In other, totally unrelated news, I got my pedal. It's a DigiTech Whammy WH-4 pitch controller, and it's insanely fun to play with. I spent two hours cranking all sorts of psychadelic sounds out of it, including a weird bagpipe effect apparently pioneered by Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine. I love this thing, probably a lot more than I would've loved a wah pedal if I'd gotten one. I guess its name will be Whammy. Audrey, Tracy, Whammy... maybe I'll name my cables too.
